NULLPUNKT., was born out of the play FOS, created in 2014 and aiming to stage an act based on the movement and equilibrium on a trapeze. The research begins in 2012/2013. At this embryo stage, we face the necessity of getting a more mature idea and line of research, willing to create a universe where the trapeze is an extension of the ground. Thus, we are creating an image of a body that by just existing destroys the image of the element itself through a game of continuous movement, in order to lose the identity and the shape of the set figures and to understand the movement of the body and the element.
NULLPUNKT., or energy of 0 point, is the lowest energy a body or an element can have, it is the basic energy, which is not removable, in which all the states are in equilibrium. NULLPUNKT., becomes a state within the trapeze itself, a way of understanding it.
NULLPUNKT. was presented at the Fira Trapezi de Reus 2015, thanks to a co-production of the Central del Circ and the Fira Trapezi in Reus.
