Compañía de Circo "eia"

Compañía de Circo "eia" (´yes´ in Sardinia, “élans imprévus accordés´ in French) is a circus company founded when two groups merged: Armando Rabanera, Fabrizio Giannini, Cristiano Della Monica (Cirque Vague, Circo de la Sombra) and Francesca Lissia and Celso Pereira (Celso y Frana). All are united by their interest in exploring and comparing our ways of performing circus. Their passion was born under the same big top in Madrid. From that point, their paths divided, leading them to different ends of Europe for the space of four years. Now, the desire to fuse their different artistic languages has brought them together once more. The components are convinced that the different paths they have each taken represent the strong point in their expressive language as a group. At a time when being different is often a problem, the artists that form “eia´ allow their peculiarities to bloom in their shows, enriching the collective work, giving it the colour and variety that the world deserves.
